mixed berry green tea

mixed berry green tea reminds me of

driving through staten island in november 2008

with my (now) fiancé in our rented pt cruiser

only to find out that the only bridge to manhattan

was close for a marathon and we had to drive all the way back.

i was drinking hot mixed berry green tea

that fiancé made special for me at the hotel that morning

with one pack of splenda, just how i like it.

i love him.
