Last weekend, Brett and I headed up north to meet his sister and mom for a little Saturday hike. The weather was absolutely gorgeous: mid 50s and so sunny. I'll take it for mid March! We had a great time wandering around the trails of McConnell Mills State Park all afternoon. (Even though the trails were a bit icy in spots! We were not expecting that!) Regardless, it was just what we needed. We were starting to get a little stir crazy being inside all Winter long...
And I can't think of a better way to top off a weekend hike than refreshing beers and delicious food. North Country Brewing is only a few miles from the state park, so we were obviously not passing up on that opportunity.
It was a great little Saturday!
